This is a Writing Intensive (W) course. It fulfills, in part, the writing requirement for graduation. Students will become familiar with the ways in which those exploring and analyzing history employ different conventions of written discourse to pose an argument, make a point, propose new ideas, and develop problem-solving strategies. You are expected to complete a series of separate writing assignments throughout the semester and work with the Writing Center on assignments requiring paper revisions.
